The term chair hogtie may refer to either of two different bondage methods.
The victim may be put into a hogtie and then tied securely to a chair. If a frogtie hogtie is used, the legs may be put one on each side of the chair back.
Alternatively, the victim may be put into chair bondage with arms over the back of the chair. The bound ankles are pulled back under the chair and connected to the wrists, so that the victim is in a vertical hogtie wrapped around the chair.
[edit] Inverted chair hogtie
In this method, the victim is laid face up across the seat of the chair with wrists and ankles tied. The wrists and ankles are then pulled under the seat and the bonds joined, so that the victim is hogtied around the seat but not the back of the chair.
