Polyfidelity is a close-grouped form of polyamory in which three or more more people have romantic relationships with sexual contact restricted to specific partners within the group. This is much like the normal expectation in a monogamous marriage but with more than two people involved in the relationship. It has the health and emotional advantages of commitment and fidelity - often concentrating on issues of honesty and trust - while allowing more than one in the relationship. It does not have the sexual variety or freedom of more open arrangements or swinging.

Polyfidelity is a common form of polyamory in D/s relationships with more than one person. Typically, such relationships have only one dominant with multiple submissive partners.

See Polyamory for the main article on this area.
