Viola Bizarre

Viola (generally known as Viola Bizarre to most English reading/speaking consumers) was a German-based fetish film production company that was notable during the 1980s and 1990s for their many different intense fetish sex film series, including "Schwarze Reihe" ("Black series") and "Viola Compact".

Voila's flagship production line entitled Viola Bizarr had over 39 entries (Viola Bizarr 39: Devote Society) which repeatedly had latex fetish specific episodes including the well known trilogy "Gummiklinik Frau Dr. Monteil - Teil 1, 2 and 3" ("Gummiklinik" means "rubber clinic") and "Rubber Dreams (1991)".

Viola ceased operations in the late 1990s due to failing sales. They tried to remain in business after converting some of their more successful films to the then emerging high-selling DVD format but were ultimately unsuccessful in gaining a new profitable audience by doing so. Viola sold off their entire library in the early 2000s and completely dissolved.

Today Viola films only exist due to early collectors' efforts and resales.
