I think it would be interesting to have a section on this (and other similar articles) where people can recount their experiences of being owned by someone, how it makes them feel etc. If the list gets too big then we can move it to a new artile later. This would put a human dimension and richness on what superficially could be quite a dry topic.

- I think I understand your point but there is a danger of stepping outside what an encyclopedia is about. That could eventually weaken the usefulness of this resource. Why not just point to various weblogs and forums for people to follow up on?

I see your point but I also feel that a personal section could help peoples wider understanding of the topic. I do agree with you point about keeping it separate from the main article. Maybe we can have a new article called [[Ownership (Personal Experiences)]] etc. It would need careful editing so that it did not become just some huge blog, but I would be fun to set the idea off and see what happens.
- A Personal Experiences concept is good as a general possibility on any of the pages. Actually, this also fits with another issue I have on the shopping area, where I feel there should be a distinct separation between fact and endorsement (even words like "lovely" and "good" are endorsement). Yes, having a Personal Experiences section on any page should work quite well.
