Public play is acting out a scene or performing BDSM or fetish acts in a public place or where it may easily be seen by passers by. It must be done with care, or it may be illegal under laws such as breach of the peace or forbidding nudity.
It may be done as part of an organised event such as the Folsom Street Fair
