A Posture collar is a rigid collar that is wide enough to reach from under the chin to the shoulders, significantly restricting neck movement and forcing the wearer to adopt a head-up posture. Posture collars are typically made from leather, but may also be made from metal, rubber or plastics such as PVC. Posture collars are often decorated, and may include other bondage elements such as decorative spikes (compare wolf collar) or a D-ring for attaching restraints.
Posture collars are also known as corset collars or neck corsets.
