Crisco is the tradename of a vegetable shortening (fat) product made by the J.M. Smucker Company.

Created in 1911 as the first such product made entirely of vegetable oil, it has frequently been described by writers of sexual literature such as Pat Califia and others as a sexual lubricant, typically in "large handfuls" for anal sex.

Like other oil-based products, it can damage rubber and in particular should not be used with condoms.

Availability

Available in 'sticks' for cooking purposes, BDSM usage usually refers to tubs of the product. Although an American product, it is available in the UK in some Safeway and other stores with USA sections.
