An adhesive bra is a bra that has no straps and is held in position by a re-usable adhesive. They may have just one cup (so that a pair must be worn), or consist of two cups linked together.
Having no straps, they can be worn with backless dresses without showing any straps. Their disadvantage is that they are generally less supportive of the breasts than a normal bra.
