Kinky boots and miniskirt

Kinky boots is a term popular in the 1960s. It referred to thighboots, or knee-high boots, made of leather. They were generally worn with a miniskirt and symbolised the "Swinging Sixties".

Kinky boots were often worn by Honor Blackman and Diana Rigg on The Avengers. Diana Rigg and Patrick MacNee recorded a song Kinky Boots in 1965 (it was re-released in 1990).
