Paraphilias

Thanks for your work on this. I think that at present the best thing is to have a "See also" section in the main article. I wouldn't recommend a category unless (until?) we have about 20 articles. Ropeuser 06:13, 16 May 2009 (UTC)

My own take on paraphilia is that it is easy to be contentious. Wikipedia editors went overboard (to my mind) on describing all kinds of things as paraphilic, even without any reference to either the ICD or DSM. Personally, I'd be happier having a list under 'Perversion' or a new topic of 'List of deviant behaviours'. I'd just like to put a more positive slant on wiitwd, rather than tell everyone they have a mental problem! YMMV :) --Interesdom 13:30, 16 May 2009 (UTC)

I don't personally associate paraphilias with any mental health problem, but I know others may do and be sensitive about it. I agree, they should be cast in a positive light.
