By the way, there seems to have been a whole thing of Wonder Woman bondage semi-fetishism for a number of decades (though there's nothing about it on Wikipedia, as far as I can find). AnonMoos 12:14, 24 November 2010 (UTC)

All very true. I'd have added some illustrations but I can't find any with a free licence. Maybe I can add some links.--Ropeuser 09:19, 25 November 2010 (UTC)
There are some putatively US-copyright-free images which might be useful at http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Good_girl_art , http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Bondage_in_comics etc. (have no idea what the UK copyright status is). AnonMoos 13:18, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
They wouldn't be OK in the UK; Commons has exploited a loophole in US law because the copyright was never registered, but that doesn't work in the UK. I found a good picture on Deviant Art and have asked for permission to use it.--Ropeuser 19:23, 30 November 2010 (UTC)

Wonder Woman being constantly tied up was semi-notorious during the 1940s, with significant cultural carry-over into subsequent decades (in the U.S. at least), but Wikipedia kind of tucks this info away inconspicuously; there's some info (not a lot) at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Moulton_Marston#Themes and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Publication_history_of_Wonder_Woman#Early_days ... -- AnonMoos 02:57, 21 April 2011 (UTC)
