odd quote marks in this article

At several places in this article, there are some quite odd quote marks, which I suspect were introduced by an editor using a Mac. However it occured, they should be replaced with regular quote marks, to avoid this odd effect. Since I don't want to cause problems by attempting an extirpation on another's site, I'll simply leave this note, alerting mangagement to the problem. bt 23:01, 30 October 2006 (GMT)

Looks OK to me in IE6.--Taxwoman 12:38, 4 November 2006 (GMT)
I see the same error that Bt is seeing. It appears the user who created the faulty changes (http://www.londonfetishscene.com/wipi/index.php?title=Special:Contributions&target=Kosmet%C3%83%C2%A8s) has used parts of the extended ASCII character set which is implementation defined rather than being defined by the standards body. Thus, some OSes can understand it, but others do not. The browser doesn't matter.
The user's name also contains a faulty character, so I can't even tell what the user's name is exactly. It looks like that user has only been active until January 2006 and has only edited a dozen pages. That means that if we fix the pages, we probably don't have to worry about the errors coming back. I can fix the ones that from context I can assume are quotes. I will leave any other items that I don't understand. --Labyrinth1911 16:15, 4 November 2006 (GMT)
I have looked over the user's contributions and there were two pages in addition to this one. One was corrected by another user. One was a copy error from Wikipedia and I corrected it based on its version of the mangled word. I also fixed this page. You can consider the issue resolved. --Labyrinth1911 17:05, 4 November 2006 (GMT)

Well done. Many thanks.--Taxwoman 19:42, 4 November 2006 (GMT)
