"getting the best of both worlds"

Not really sure what this adds unless it's made clear that it's an old joke. Male bisexuals sometimes get the worst of both worlds as far as acceptance by different communities, or people truly believing that they are what they say they are. Some bisexual women are kind of "love-sexual", in that they seem to mainly feel strong sexual attraction in the context of a romantic crush or current relationship...
