SM Pride is an organisation supporting BDSM that aims to actively promote awareness and understanding of the BDSM culture, and specifically helps members in connection with their activities.
According to the organisation's website, the role of SM Pride is to:
- (a) build a communication, information, education and support network for members of the BDSM community; and
- (b) promote for the acceptance of, and the right for all adults to engage in, the safe, sane and consensual exploration of SM practices and BDSM as a sexuality with a view to facilitating reduction of stereotypical beliefs, misconceptions and media misrepresentation about BDSM in the community as a whole.
SM Pride does not seem to have been very active since 2006.
