Preseminal fluid or pre-cum is the clear 'juice' secreted by the genitalia that acts as a natural lubricant before actual penetration takes place. It is produced in several glands, from the prostate to the seminal vesicles. It can contain live sperm and so pregnancy will be a possibility. It can also contain some infectious organisms, such as the HIV/AIDS virus. Accordingly, safe sex should include wearing a condom prior to the release of pre-cum fluid.
