Drysuit made of neoprene

Neoprene or polychloroprene was the first commercial synthetic rubber, produced in 1931 by polymerising chloroprene. It is much more resistant to heat, light, oxidation and petroleum than is natural rubber.

It is frequently used to make wetsuits, drysuits and other garments.
