Is this really intended to be a french maid costume? To me, it looks more like an Edwardianized version of a 1950's waitress outfit... AnonMoos 21:28, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

I think the dress is very much in the Japanese Gothic and Lolita style, I have a Phaidon book on the subject and they specifically link it to the maid style.
