Summary

Venus with a Mirror, by Titian, painted ca. 1555, one of Leopold von Sacher-Masoch's inspirations for Venus in Furs.

(There are several slight variations on the title -- this is the version given in the book Venus at her Mirror: Velázquez and the Art of Nude Painting by Andreas Prater, 2002, ISBN 3-7913-2783-6.)

Currently in National Gallery of Art, Washington (Andrew Mellon collection).

This image may not be in the public domain in these countries, which moreover do not implement the rule of the shorter term. Côte d'Ivoire has a general copyright term of 99 years and Honduras has 75 years, but they do implement that rule of the shorter term.
